Karen Detillion,
Hard to put down!I loved the suspense in this book。 The main character ended up in the witness protection program , relocated, fell in love but couldn't reveal her true identity to anyone。 Hard to put down!I loved the suspense in this book。 The main character ended up in the witness protection program , relocated, fell in love but couldn't reveal her true identity to anyone。 。。。more

Another unique story by Lisa ReneeWhat does a runaway accountant, a wig, and a horse-of-a-dog have in common? You’d better read this story to find out! 😉😂Kaitlyn’s journey rollercoaster’d throughout this novel, with some highs but many lows。 I have to say her initial prickly demeanour was difficult to bear, but forgivable。。。 and I was rooting for her in the end。 Mind you, Jake had plenty of flaws even if I found him likeable throughout most of the story。 Lisa Renee sure knows how to write imperf Another unique story by Lisa ReneeWhat does a runaway accountant, a wig, and a horse-of-a-dog have in common? Andrea,
This was an enjoyable clean and sweet RomCom with some cute laughable moments。 I really enjoyed the faith elements that was woven into the story。 If you’re looking for a Christian RomCom, I would recommend this book。 Looking forward to reading more of this series in the future。I received an ARC of this book but not required to give a positive review。 This review is my own。
Betsy Hale,
Fake Identity at Stake was another good book by Lisa Renee。 This rom com was indeed a page turner and some hilarious moments throughout the story involving a big untrained dog, some chickens, a wig and her boss unexpectedly showing up。tKaitlyn Hughes uncovers that the Denver company she was working for had somebody embezzling money。 She goes to the police, and they inform her that she needs to go into hiding until they can fully investigate the case。 Idaho Springs is where she is placed and besi Fake Identity at Stake was another good book by Lisa Renee。 This rom com was indeed a page turner and some hilarious moments throughout the story involving a big untrained dog, some chickens, a wig and her boss unexpectedly showing up。tKaitlyn Hughes uncovers that the Denver company she was working for had somebody embezzling money。 She goes to the police, and they inform her that she needs to go into hiding until they can fully investigate the case。 Idaho Springs is where she is placed and beside a neighbor, Jake Mardell, who owns some chickens。 She gets a job with his best friend Ethan with the identity of Charlotte Maddison。 She also moved into her house with a new dog, Brutus。 Trouble started for her on day one of the move and she had trouble keeping her story straight between all the parties involved。 tThis was a delightful book that showed forgiveness was necessary and to find out the facts before jumping to conclusions。 tI was given a free copy of this book for review and the opinion is my own。 #FakeIdentityAtStake #FionaGrace 。。。more
Tracey Wert,
What a fun story! Kaitlyn (Charlotte) and Jake make quite the pair。 This book has great dialogue and depth beyond my expectations。 Kaitlyn is a believer but has been “burned” by the church so is quick to judge her new neighbor who is a Christian。 Although her faith journey isn’t a large part of the story, it is interesting to see her come fill circle within her relationship with Jake。 I loved the scenes where her friend was getting to know Jake’s friend and she was trying to avoid them both。 You What a fun story! Lisa Renee has done it again! A stellar read complete with boxer shorts, an unruly chicken-eating Great Dane and a fake identity at stake, this rom-com is sure to tickle your funny bone! Five stars!

Vicki or Dennis Johnson,
What a totally different book than what I was expecting。 The story begins with spine tingling witnessing by the h, but just traverses through one catastrophe to the next! The action is almost non-stop, with some funny absurdity sprinkled throughout。 There were a couple of times that I found the story repetitive, but in the end I felt that the book was a 4。5。 The characters were very well defined and "plucked" (pun intended) into their roles seamlessly。 I would recommend this book, especially if What a totally different book than what I was expecting。 The story begins with spine tingling witnessing by the h, but just traverses through one catastrophe to the next! Donna Lane,
Fake Identity At Stake is a whirlwind boy-meets-girl romp, only the girl isn’t who she says she is, and the boy has no idea。 Add in mobsters, FBI agents, clueless friends, slobbering dogs, and chickens, and you have a classic Lisa Renee rom com full of those kinds of unexpected moments and witty dialogue that keeps you laughing and wondering what in the world is going to happen next。 Great fun from start to finish!
Christie Pollard,
I thoroughly enjoyed this book。 When Kaitlyn meets Jake, she is caught up in lies that were not of her making。 She goes into Witness Protection in order to stay safe while her former boss and his colleagues are being prosecuted。 To keep her identity and situation secret, she must continue with deceptions that cause a riff between Jake and Kaitlyn。 I really appreciate that Lisa Marie puts Christian principles into effect throughout the book。 I received an ARC copy of this book, but my opinions ar I thoroughly enjoyed this book。 When Kaitlyn meets Jake, she is caught up in lies that were not of her making。 She goes into Witness Protection in order to stay safe while her former boss and his colleagues are being prosecuted。 To keep her identity and situation secret, she must continue with deceptions that cause a riff between Jake and Kaitlyn。 I really appreciate that Lisa Marie puts Christian principles into effect throughout the book。 I received an ARC copy of this book, but my opinions are totally unbiased。 。。。more
Trudy Cordle,
I enjoyed this book! Some of it seemed a bit off to me, given the ages of the hero and heroine, but it was still a good story! Kaitlyn finds a discrepancy in the company books。 She has enough presence of mind to make a copy, though! She meets Jake when she moves in next door。 He knows her as Charlotte。 Will he be able to accept her as Kaitlyn, will his finding out destroy their relationship? I loved the faith element! They both needed to figure things out before they could truly be together。I re I enjoyed this book! Cm,
This is one of those stories that draws you in & makes you feel as though you're right there with the characters, feeling what they feel。 I would describe it as a sweet, clean romance with a dash of suspense thrown in for good measure。 I couldn't put it down until I found out how things were going to end with Jake & Kaitlyn (aka Charlotte)。 Loved everything about this book! I was fortunate enough to receive an ARC but all opinions are 100% my own。 This is one of those stories that draws you in & makes you feel as though you're right there with the characters, feeling what they feel。 I would describe it as a sweet, clean romance with a dash of suspense thrown in for good measure。 I couldn't put it down until I found out how things were going to end with Jake & Kaitlyn (aka Charlotte)。 Loved everything about this book! Jackie,
What a story with romance, suspense and more。 When Kaitlyn goes into a Witness Protection Program, things don’t go so well with the neighbour。 There’s definite danger out there as well。 A story to hook you all the way to the end。
Bonnie Theel,
Kaitlyn worked as a bookkeeper for Samson Corporation。 She discovered $486,000 unaccounted for and wondered if she might have made a mistake。 Her boss didn't have the reaction she had anticipated。 After over-hearing a conversation between her boss and another man, she decided to take the information to the police。 This is where the story really stats getting good。 A great read!I received an ARC, and this is my honest opinion。 Kaitlyn worked as a bookkeeper for Samson Corporation。 She discovered $486,000 unaccounted for and wondered if she might have made a mistake。 Her boss didn't have the reaction she had anticipated。 After over-hearing a conversation between her boss and another man, she decided to take the information to the police。 This is where the story really stats getting good。 A great read!I received an ARC, and this is my honest opinion。 。。。more
